Return and Refund Policy
We strive to ensure you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, our return policy outlines how you can return items and get a refund or exchange.
Eligibility for Returns
Items can be returned within 45 days of purchase. All items are eligible for a return for an exchange, refund or store credit. Gift cards are non-returnable.
Condition of Items
Items must be free of marks, unused, with tags attached, and in the original packaging to be eligible for return. Items returned not in their original condition may be rejected and returned back to the customer.
Return Process
- Customers will submit their request for a return or exchange using their original order number through our return portal.
- The Sweaty Betty team will review the request and approve/decline or contact the customer with more questions.
- Customers whose returns are approved will then receive a shipping label to return their order. Orders will be sent by taking them to the nearest NZ Post drop off location.
- Once the returned order arrives at our warehouse, our team will inspect the product. If it is confirmed to be in its original condition, we will process the exchange or issue the refund or store credit.
Refund Method
Refunds will be processed onto the original payment method within 10 business days. Sale items can be returned for exchange or store credit. Original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Exchange Policy
Exchanges are processed similarly to returns. Please indicate using the return portal if you prefer an exchange and your requested exchange item. Exchanges are shipped on the receipt of your return. If you wish to receive your return sooner, we recommend placing a new purchase and requesting a refund or store credit.
Shipping Costs
Return shipping is free. However, all original shipping costs are non-refundable.
Processing Time
Returns are processed within 5 business days of receiving the item. Refunds may take up to 10 business days to appear on your statement.
Exceptions and Special Cases
During holiday seasons, we may take longer than the above time frames to approve and process returns and exchanges. If for some reason you have not been able to return your order in the 45 day return window, please reach out to our customer services for assistance. Final sale items are not eligible for return or exchange.
Expected Levels of Returns
We monitor the frequency of returns by individual customers to ensure the fair use of our return policy. Customers who return an excessive amount of orders may be subject to a handling fee or have their ability to make future returns limited. We will contact you if your return frequency is deemed excessive.
